What OTHER is

OTHER is an independent matchmaking service operated by Xponent21 Inc, an innovation agency in Richmond, Virginia. We help food and beverage brands prepare sourcing briefs and connect with independent natural color and flavor suppliers. We are not a supplier, manufacturer, broker of record, food scientist or law firm.

No guarantees about swaps

Audit results, swap options and difficulty labels are starting points to verify with your supplier and your regulatory counsel. We do not guarantee that any natural color or flavor will work in your product, meet your specifications, shelf life or process conditions, or satisfy any law, retailer requirement or label claim.

Deals are between you and the supplier

Any quote, sample, purchase or contract is between the brand and the supplier. OTHER is not a party to it and is not responsible for the performance, quality, pricing or delivery of either side.

Information you submit

You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it for your company. Supplier profiles are reviewed before they are published, and we may edit, decline or remove any profile or brief at our discretion.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no scraping of supplier data, no automated or fraudulent submissions, no attempts to access non-public areas, and no content that is unlawful or infringes anyone's rights.

Regulatory and market information

The Regulation tracker summarizes public information with its sources. It may be incomplete or out of date and is not legal advice. Check the linked sources and consult counsel before relying on any date or rule.

Intellectual property

The OTHER name, logo and site content belong to Xponent21 Inc. Supplier and brand names belong to their owners.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, OTHER is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site or any dealing with a supplier or brand introduced through it.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or suspend access to the site at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
